Pommes Red Delicious

RED DELICIOUS is the #1 American apple. In Provence, it is harvested between August 25th and September 25th.

Obtained by mutation of the variety Delicious, it is distinguished by its dark carmine red color on the entire surface, even in those fruits grown in the shade.

Red delicious is of large size with firm and juicy flesh, has sweet taste. This apple sort can be kept well and can thus be exported in far regions.
