THE GOLDEN DELICIOUS is the most popular yellow apple in the world. Commonly called Golden, it represents more than a third of the national French production. It is also one of those varieties from which other varieties are obtained or created. In our region, it is harvested towards the end of August when it turns yellow. The flesh is juicy, firm and crisp, sweet and fragrant, slightly acidic.
