Pomme Gala

GALA is an apple variety that was created in 1920 in New Zealand. In France it is the second most commonly grown apple sort after the Golden Delicious.

In Provence it is harvested around August 10th. There are several clones including the Gala Bukeyee which is very red, striated and sweet. Gala is the "Leader" in sales for the moment.
